My Story!

I am currently attending NJIT and I initially began as a Computer Science major during which I learned python, JAVA, C, C++, problem solving and whatnot. It was during this time that I started my own Engineering and Research club known as the NJIT Makers club. That club is integrated with the Makerspace of NJIT and it has grown to over 75 members in just little under 2 years. During this time, I got exposed to Data Science and choose to switch my major to Business and Information systems. After this move I applied to the BS/MS program at NJIT and choose Data Science as my masters degree major. The benefit of this program is that I get my undergrad and masters degree in 5 years. I started learning SQL, Python libraries, Excel and Tableau and managed to get accepted in the NJIT data Science Club which is a graduate level exclusive club for masters and PHD students as an E-board member. For the 2021 summer I have further taken steps to enhance my data science journey by accepting an offer from Cigna as a Business Analytics intern where I will be using Python, Tableau and SQL.
